Our Story

Like many great Jersey Shore love stories, theirs began exactly where you’d expect: at D'Jais Bar & Grill- somewhere between loud music, questionable decisions and one too many grails.

What started as a random night out quickly turned into the kind of connection neither of them expected. Somehow, through the madness of DJais, they found someone who could match their sarcasm, energy and love for having a good time… which was both exciting and mildly concerning.

From the very beginning, they bonded over the truly important things in life: their unhealthy emotional attachment to the New York Yankees and the emotional rollercoaster known as being fans of the New Jersey Devils. Nothing says romance quite like screaming “JUST THROW STRIKES” or “SHOOT THE PUCK” from the couch as if either of them were secretly on the coaching staff. Through extra innings, overtime heartbreaks, and sports-induced emotional damage, they only grew closer.

When they weren’t bonding over sports and tequila, they built a life full of adventures: beach days, spontaneous road trips, vacations, airport sprints, shore weekends, and overpacked suitcases. Together, they mastered traveling as a couple- one packing responsibly while the other packed 14 outfits “just in case.”

At home, their hearts first belonged to Harley: beloved dog, best friend, and unofficial relationship supervisor. Harley was there for lazy Sundays, sports meltdowns, late-night snacks, and every argument that somehow ended in laughter. Losing Harley left a hole in their hearts they never imagined could be filled.

Then came Penny.

Penny entered their lives like a tiny furry tornado with unlimited energy and absolutely no respect for personal space, sleep schedules, or expensive footwear. She healed hearts while simultaneously stealing socks, creating chaos, and reminding them what unconditional love looks like.

Over the years, they built something real- a relationship rooted in friendship, loyalty, laughter, family, vacations, beach days, dog hair on every article of clothing they own, and an honestly impressive Rumple Minze tolerance.

Somewhere along the way, they realized they never wanted the party to end.

So now, they're making it official proving that sometimes the best love stories really do start at D’Jais. Which is honestly impressive for a place better known for hangovers than soulmates.
